Notice is hereby given that the Transit Joint Powers Authority for Merced County (TJPAMC) has released project number RFP20220113TJPAMC – Public Transit Security Guard Services. TJPAMC is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide public transit security guard services for employees, drivers, passengers, and TJPAMC property.

The deadline to ask questions via email is 12:00 p.m., January 26, 2022. Proposals are due electronically (via email) by 12:00 p.m. on February 18, 2022, and shall be emailed to Alicia Ochoa-Jones, Procurement Manager at .
Proposers are responsible for making certain their proposal documentation is complete and is received via email by TJPAMC on or before the closing deadline. TJPAMC is not liable for any costs incurred by proposers in responding to the RFP. TJPAMC reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals or to cancel this solicitation at its discretion. Requests for changes or clarifications must be submitted in writing by the deadline indicated in the RFP. Any alterations to the RFP will be made by written addenda only.
Proposers are hereby notified this project will be funded in part by the Federal Transit Administration. Therefore, proposers of this project are hereby bound by all applicable federal laws, regulations, and certifications.
In compliance with Title 49 CFR Part 26, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise’s (DBE) are encouraged to submit a Proposal and will be afforded full opportunity to participate in this solicitation. The resulting contract from this solicitation has no specific contract DBE goal. However, TJPAMC has an overall DBE goal of 1%. Note that prospective proposers will not be required to submit good faith efforts.
Communications from proposers shall be submitted in writing (email) to Alicia Ochoa-Jones, Procurement Manager, for this procurement. Except as set forth herein, there shall be no other communication with any other TJPAMC employees or consultants with respect to the proposal documents or project.
