Notice is hereby given that the Transit Joint Powers Authority for Merced County (TJPAMC) has released project number IFB20220106TPAMC – TJPAMC Construction – Bus Shelter Repairs, Removal, and Installation. TJPAMC is requesting Bids from qualified and licensed contractors who are registered with the Department of Industrial Relations and licensed to conduct business within the County of Merced for construction, as specified in the IFB.

The deadline to ask questions via email is 12:00 p.m. January 18, 2022. Bids will be publicly opened and read on January 27, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at 369 W. 18th Street, Merced, California 95340. Bids must remain effective for 90 days from Bid opening.
Bidders are responsible for making certain their Bid documentation is complete and is received by TJPAMC on or before the closing deadline. TJPAMC is not liable for any costs incurred by Bidders in responding to this IFB. Bidders are to clearly identify any information that is confidential and/or proprietary and submit a redacted copy of their Bid with the confidential and/or proprietary information. TJPAMC is not responsible or liable for the disclosure of any information that is not clearly labeled as confidential and/or proprietary. TJPAMC reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids or to cancel this solicitation at its discretion. Requests for changes or clarifications must be submitted in writing by the deadline indicated in the IFB. Any alterations to the IFB will be made by written addenda only.
Communications from Bidders shall be submitted in writing (email) to Alicia Ochoa-Jones, Procurement Manager, for this procurement. Except as set forth herein, there shall be no other communication with any other TJPAMC employees or consultants with respect to the Bid documents or project.
