1. What does it cost to get from Turlock to Merced?

Starting September 1, 2012 when traveling from one city or community to another on The Bus, the cost will be $3 one-way.

2. What is the difference between local and intercity?

Local is when you travel within a city or community and intercity is when you travel from one city or community to another. The exception to this is anywhere within Winton, Atwater, and Merced, which will be counted as a local fare of $1.50.

3. Can my child ride for free?

Any child 6 and older must be 46 inches or shorter to ride free and anyone 5 and younger may ride free.

4. Do the bus drivers give change when purchasing passes?

Drivers do not carry change therefore you have to have correct change when buying a pass. Drivers can print out a “change ticket” that could be used to reboard the bus at another time.

5. How long ahead of time do I have to be at my bus stop?
