We are doing a disservice to the young people of this community who are trying to continued their education.    I have waited over 15 mins twice in the past two weeks for a bus that never came. And since they come only every 50 mins, I will be late for a meeting at work. People (especially low-income) can't and won't use the bus system if it is this unreliable because they (unlike me) will get fired for showing up late. People can't leave +90 mins early every day because their bus might not show up on time or at all. This is a massive failure and needs to be fixed. Make the buses more reliable or make them come more often, so that a missed/late bus can get people where they need to go on time!

    So a lot of the people I've riden the bus w/ from Turlock that are college students and communting to Merced happen to live on the southern part of Turlock, or on the country outskirts, myself included. It's awesome that we have the H-Route now available and think it'd be super convinient to add a stop on Lander where the H-Route already goes by and the T-Route doesn't. Suggested stops would be: -the gas station on Glenwood and Lander by Almond tree where charter buses to MX already stop -Lander and Simmons, heading towards Hilmar, a safe location where school buses already drop students off during the school year Or locations not already in the H-Route's route would be anywhere suitable between Linwood and Glenwood on Lander. It can be hard to ride my bike to the Hilmar Cheese/Turlock transpo from Lander due to having to bike next to lots of semi-trucks so a Lander stop would be very helpful.     I rely on on the LB commuter route to and from work on almost a daily basis. The bus stop which I frequent, as it's the closest to my job but is also a concern is the Ward Rd. bus stop in Los Banos .The reason for my concern is that patrons have to wait for the bus just feet away from Town & Country Liquors . The gang and drug related activity that surrounds the location is a threat to one's safety , specially during the night hours . I am a female and at 4'9 in height , and have been using the Merced transit for several years now and in no other bus stops have I ever felt so uneasy . I can recall that the former bus stop for routes going to Dos Palos and Merced was at Food4less, which was also within proximity to my destination and higher traffic of people at late hours of the evening .     Please extend the hospital bus (or other) out the El Capitan High School. Many students miss the school bus and backup transportation. Many parents also need transportation to the school.

    I'm a UC Merced student and I live in Los Banos, so I take the LB commuter to Merced every morning. I have a huge chunk of free time in between classes and I rather go home during it, but I can't make the 11:30 bus and I don't want to wait around for the 3:45 bus.     Let's bring back the bigger bus again for most of the main routes in Merced that are busier like the M1, M2, M3, M4, and M5 routes that have a lot of people going on these routes every day. The small bus is too crowded on these routes so the bigger bus would be better. M1 is usually fine and has the big bus and so does UC and commuter routes but M2 M3 and M4 especially and maybe even M5 too have the small bus too much with not enough room. Let's take a bus from each to run 45 mins instead of 30 mins then have like this: M1 bus 150 and 164, M2 bus 151 and 152, M3 bus 157 and 158, M4 bus 153 and 165, M5 bus 154 and 166, M6 bus 155, Atwater A1 bus 156, W1 bus 159 and 160, UC bus 161 and 167, W2 bus 162 and 168, L bus 163 and 169, T bus 170 and 171, LB bus 172, and P bus 173. This way we could have bigger buses on all the routes if it is this way and the small bus for dial a ride or if a spare is needed instead. Let's bring the bigger buses back again and have for all the routes this time.
