Public Review and Comment Period
The Transit Joint Powers Authority (TJPA) for Merced County, as the policy body for “THE BUS” and as a direct recipient of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funding, must undergo a public review process whenever FTA funding changes.
The TJPA for Merced County was awarded $306,833 of FTA 5339(a), Bus Replacement Discretionary Program, grant funding. These FTA 5339(a) funds and other monies will be used to purchase three buses at an estimated cost of $360,981.
Public review and comment period ends on July 13, 2020.
